Beste Mensen,

I am struggling with the internet stability at my home.

I have Odido Fiber internet that I combine with my personal Deco 6E (3 pieces) and M5 (3 pieces).

Lately, I have massive unstable internet issues and my office calls keep dropping.

Would highly appreciate any pointers to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Vish

You can also remove the Zyxel completely, so converter > Deco in router mode.

In the Deco app go to more, advanced, IPTV/VLAN, enable this, mode custom, internet VLAN 300, apply and restart the converter to see if that works better.

Hello @Vish Dat

First of all, can you connect the Odido router to the mediaconverter and see if the issue persists?

Does it happen on both WiFi and wired internet on all devices connected?

Thanks Waqqas.

My Odido Zyxel Router is connected to the Deco 6E via LAN chord. Do you ask me to disconnect the Decos and connect directly on Odido Zyxel Wi-fi? Apologies, that I do not fully understand your guidance.

Do you mean the other way around? The Deco is connected to your Zyxel router?

So ONT (fiber) → WAN port of the Zyxel → LAN 1 of Zyxel to WAN port of the first (main) Deco 6E.

Make sure wifi is turned off in the Zyxel and also disable EasyMesh in Zyxel. They don’t work together with the mesh system of the Deco’s.

Is the main Deco (first one connected to the Zyxel) set as Router mode or as Access Point?

(You can see that in the Deco App, right corner then Advanced)
