Hello,

Please can you advise on how to fix my no internet connection using fibreglass:

  • Huawei convertor with green power, no PON, red flashing LOS, green LAN
  • Zyxel T-56, green power, green 2.5G WAN, red internet, no LAN, green 2.4G and green 5G

I’ve tried the following but still no internet:

  • turning off the power to both boxes and restarting the convertor first, then the modem
  • turning off the power to both boxes, reseating all the cable connections, and turning on the converter then modem.

The internet hasn’t worked on 19 November 2025 since midday, and I’m low on data allowance for the phone, while working from home.

Thank you,

MA

Hi @MAMAJ, welcome to our community!

Of course, I want you to be back online as soon as possible. Thank you for filling in your details. This allowed me to immediately perform a line measurement and see that there is no contact with the local exchange. I have sent Guidion over to you right away. You will receive a message shortly to schedule an appointment with the technician, who will resolve this for you! Would you mind keeping me informed? Thanks in advance!

Hi Tommie, thank you for arranging the technician visit. The technician said the fibre connection outside the building was damaged a bit, and he fixed the fibre. I was told by him to see if the internet is stable over the following days, otherwise, call back for further support.

Thanks for the support @Tommie van Odido

Hello @MAMAJ

Looks like there is no fiber signal. Fill in all the privé fields in your community profile so a moderator can check this for you in case the outage doesn't get fixed itself.

Every private field apart from track&trace is filled. I don’t know what track&trace refers to.
