We have started our contract with ODIDO on the 17th of November, however to this date 8th December, we have had no internet connection installed.
The first available appointment was on the 4th of December, but unfortunately the monteur from Guidion did not bring the modem with him (we have not received any router at home, either). The technician insisted that we should have had the device delivered to our address in advance, but after calling the ODIDO customer service, they explained that Guidion made the mistake of not bringing the modem with them. Therefore, the assistant booked a new appointment for the installation today 8/12 12-4pm.
We had to take time off from work and other responsibilities to wait for them, but noone showed up on today’s appointment. We have been calling the customer support line and contacted Guidion but so far there has been no response. Thus, we are unsure when we can finally start having internet access.
We cannot understand why it has been so complicated to perform this simple installation. The same address had an active contract with ODIDO before, sending the router device would be a straightforward procedure. What is the standard process in this case?
- Should the modem have been sent at the home address in advance?
- Why is there no consensus between ODIDO and Guidion over the modem?
- Why noone showed up for the scheduled appointment by Guidion?
We have been extremely disappointed with the situation so far and we are left without any updates or guidance on how to resolve this issue. We will now have to wait another week, in a house without internet, and take yet another day off to wait for the internet installation with unknown outcome. Kindly let us know how to proceed.
