A month ago I have started a new Odido fiber internet only connection, the installer placed a device in between Zyxel modem and fiberbox. It is a Nokia branded device that has a fiber connection as an input and ethernet as an output. Ethernet cable goes into the modem.
I have a Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber with SFP+ connection which I want use instead of the provided modem. In theory I should be able to remove the device Odido installed modem and nokia device and plug fiber cable directly into Unifi. Can someone help me with which SFP module to use(may profer unifi branded one if it exists) and also I need a moderator to help me with the module registration.
I have seen similar posts about this like
but they were a bit old and since installer installed a different brand device(Nokia) for me I wanted to create a new post. Hope someone can help me. Thanks
