Routing Issues

I am curious about the routing of my internet connection specifically to cloudfare services in Netherlands. You can see a tracert of my direct connection below. The transfer speed is incredibly bad. I use a 3d printer and sending an 10 mb drawing take ages. So its not only a ping issue but also a speed problem.

DIRECT CONNECTION:
1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 4 ms 3 ms 3 ms 1-132-99-95.ftth.glasoperator.nl [95.99.132.1]
3 5 ms 5 ms 5 ms 10.227.157.193
4 5 ms 5 ms 5 ms 10.226.11.53
5 6 ms 7 ms 7 ms 141.101.65.151
6 231 ms 12 ms 23 ms ams-ix.as13335.net [80.249.211.140]
7 22 ms 29 ms 29 ms 141.101.65.149
8 20 ms 13 ms 22 ms 172.64.152.215

1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 3 ms 4 ms 3 ms 1-132-99-95.ftth.glasoperator.nl [95.99.132.1]
3 6 ms 5 ms 5 ms 10.227.157.199
4 5 ms 6 ms 5 ms 10.226.11.57
5 66 ms 6 ms 6 ms 141.101.65.145
6 23 ms 16 ms 6 ms 80.249.210.118
7 9 ms 11 ms 9 ms 141.101.65.147
8 6 ms 6 ms 6 ms 104.18.35.41

However if I use a VPN that file takes 1 second and the routing is much better. Is there issue with your routing? This is also true for other cloudfare sites which take ages to load.
Are you throttling cloudfare connections?

VPN CONNECTION:

1 5 ms 4 ms 4 ms 10.5.0.1
2 8 ms 8 ms 6 ms 62.204.45.1
3 5 ms 6 ms 11 ms connected-by.global-layer.com [37.123.210.70]
4 5 ms 5 ms 7 ms 400g-nikhef-im.global-layer.com [37.123.210.21]
5 6 ms 7 ms 6 ms speed-ix.cloudflare.com [185.1.222.191]
6 6 ms 6 ms 8 ms 141.101.65.14
7 7 ms 7 ms 6 ms 104.18.35.41

The same issue is with NVidia Geforce Now also. To be able to stream in a acceptable manner I have to use VPN otherwise I get constant jitters and slowdowns making gaming nearly impossible.

I have tried this with both my laptop and my TV and the result is same. Is there any easy solution in here?

No, Odido would not throttle Cloudflare destinations. But... Cloudflare could be throttling your connection/ip.

For example

What's your result with https://speed.cloudflare.com/ ?

Hey rvk01;

I did a couple of tests with a CAT 6 connection through a WifiPlus from Odido.

with the VPN

https://speed.cloudflare.com/ :640/560

https://www.speedtest.net/: 797/848

without VPN:

https://speed.cloudflare.com/ :906/461

https://www.speedtest.net/: 919/912

Both speed tests steem to be  perfectly normal considering the VPN is expected to be slower. But the slow upload and also problems with NVidia Now is still there. Also Odido throttling me or the other way around does not really change a lot does it?

It does change to whom you would need to complain 😂

Like I said, Odido doesn't throttle your connection.

Agreed but if cloudfare decided to throttle an Odido IP block its not like I have a lot of fighting power right? I assume someone from Odido can take it over and might ask why.
