I take it, with a Zyxel T-75, you are on fiber with a 4 or 8Gbs line?

The Zyxel doesn't have a bridge mode.

But depending on the type of router, you can connect that directly to the ONT (fiber box) with an Ethernet cable. You just need to set VLAN 300. You can store the Zyxel in a box.

This only works if you don't have a hard-phone line subscription via the Zyxel.

Odido doesn't have another router. You can just use the Zyxel or choose your own router. What router do you have?

They also don't officially give support on own hardware (that's why you need to keep the Zyxel in a box in the attic for when there are problems in which case they ask you to reconnect the Zyxel).

But we (on customer helps customer community) we might be able to help you setup your own router.

Is there a special reason you want another router? Does the Zyxel not meet your standards or expectations? And what speed is you fiber subscription (because not all routers can handle the high speed).

10gb , i wanted to connect my own router because of many device in hous around 20, i need good network to play fps games. i didnt buy router yet, wasnt sure how to turn on bright on so jsut decided to wait for feed back from odidio + router will be like 6000mb/s per lan. i was afraid to remove original router because there’s ip and didnt want to deal with double ip adress, do you think to switch routers (zyxel with mine) , is it possible to wark in that way ? my fiber subscription im not sure about speed but it doesnt matter at all i think if fiver is 10g and router 6gb

Odido doesn't sell 10Gbps subscription. It could be that you have a 8Gbps subscription. You also would need to make sure your other hardware is capable of these speeds (otherwise it's useless to pay for such high subscription).

20 devices shouldn't be a problem for the Zyxel. If you don't already have your own router and don't even have an idea which one you would buy, I would NOT recommend you go that route. Again... Why would you want a different router? If it's only that you say you have 20 devices, that's not really a valid answer (because the Zyxel can handle that). If they're is another reason (you already own one very powerfull router etc.) then you can look at that. But routers which can handle 8Gbps on WAN are expensive. And, especially in the beginning, there is no need to replace the Zyxel.

If you do decide to buy your own router, it is advisable to ask here in de community of your chosen router is correct for your use and use on the Odido line.
