Hi @Hemkumar, naturally you’ll want to have everything sorted before you move abroad. Are you all set?
Do you want to cancel your mobile contract because you’re moving abroad? You can email us at: incasso@odido.nl. The email must include the following:
- Proof of your move abroad; this can be one of the following: a mobile contract or landline connection at your foreign address, a contract for gas, water or electricity at your foreign address, or registration with the local authority in the foreign country. Please note: only your name, address and the date need to be visible. Other details may be obscured. We would like to see this document as proof of your emigration. Once we have received and checked this document, we will remove it from our systems.
- The cancellation itself: a cancellation whereby the number is deactivated, or a switch to Prepaid. With a Prepaid plan, you retain your phone number, but you will not incur monthly charges.
- Please also include your personal details in the email, such as your phone number, address and date of birth. This will enable them to assist you further in arranging this for you.
- Please state when you would like the cancellation to take effect. Please note that there is always a standard one-month notice period.
If you are still within the contract period, a termination fee will be charged. They will inform you of the termination fee and then arrange the cancellation for you.
Regarding the return of equipment for your Internet and TV subscription. If you haven't received the email that @Waqqas asked you for, don’t worry, you can also visit a DHL service point in your area. If you tell them it needs to be sent to Odido, they will arrange it for you. This is also completely free of charge. Please do include a note with your details in the parcel, so we know it’s from you.
As soon as you send it, you’ll receive a Track & Trace number from DHL. This allows you to keep an eye on the parcel. Has it arrived at our end? It may take up to 5 working days for us to process it. You’ll then receive another email from us once it has arrived and been processed. You can also find all the relevant information in this topic.
