Hello,
I would like to share my experience in the hope that Odido can resolve this issue and prevent it from happening to other customers.
My daughter is 11 years old and has an Apple Watch Series 11 (Cellular). She does not own an iPhone. Her watch is configured using Apple's Family Setup and is managed from my iPhone.
Before purchasing any subscription, I called Odido Customer Service and carefully explained this exact setup. I specifically asked which subscription I needed.
Based on the advice I received, I was instructed to visit an Odido store to collect an eSIM.
After returning home, the service did not work.
I contacted Customer Service again and was instructed to return to the store.
At the store, I was told that I had been sold the wrong product and that I actually needed a MultiSIM subscription. I signed a new contract based on that advice. The staff attempted to activate it, but it still did not work. I was then asked to try again at home using my wife's iPhone. It still did not work.
Only afterwards did I discover that Odido does not support Apple Watch Family Setup.
My question is simple:
Why was I sold not one, but two subscriptions for a configuration that Odido does not support, even after I had fully explained my situation before purchasing?
I have already submitted a formal complaint and requested cancellation of the contract and no response, but I wanted to share this here because I believe other parents could easily end up in the same situation.
I hope someone from Odido can look into this and help resolve the matter.
