Zyxel T-56 - Power light blinks continuously but no WiFi


Hello there, 

I am experiencing problems with my Zyxel T-56 router. The power light is continuously blinking all the time but I have no WiFi. This problem persists even after rebooting the router.

 

This is what I have already tried:

* Router restarted (unplug, wait 10 sec, plug back in).

* Fiber optic modem (ONT) also restarted, first the modem, then the router.

* WiFi button checked and unchecked several times

* A house Wiring checked. 

Unfortunately the problem still persists, and I have to work remotely several days a week.

I tried all the suggested options, could this indicate a defective router?

Your router is stuck in the boot proces, fill in al the private fields in your community profile so Odido van send you a replacement.

Hi ​@Roreeves, ​@Waqqas is right. I want to replace your Zyxel right away. Please fill in your full name, street name, postcode, house number, date of birth, your mobile number and the last four digits of your bankaccount in your Community profile and let me know when this done. Thank you!

One quick question, I have also a WiFi enhancer at the other part of the house and is not working very well, the signal is very poor and we are talking just a few 7 metres. Can the cause be also the Modem problem or is the WiFi spot not coeerct?

Hi ​@Roreeves, thank you for mentioning this. You are completely right, there is another wifiextender that works better with your soon to be new modem. No worries! Can you let me know once you have the Zyxel T-56 in use? I can then swap the wifiextender for you to this one!

Somehow I imagined that this could've happen,but I have to check with you, just in case were another the issue.

The Modem is scheduled to arrive today in a few hours, I will update once I receive it.

Can you please share the details to send the old one and order a new WiFi plus as discussed with Chayenner?

Hi ​@Roreeves! I'll take over from Tommie and Cheyenne for today. Great that the new modem has arrived and is working. I immediately sent you a replacement wifi extender! You should have received an email with a QR code to return your old equipment. No email? No worry! Put a note in the box with your own address details. Indicate at the DHL ServicePoint (DHL Parcel) that the package should be sent to Odido. The ServicePoint can then send the package without a return number or QR code. You can enter your email address at the DHL ServicePoint, then updates about the delivery will follow by email.

You will also receive an email for your wifi extender, but you can also return that with the steps above. Please let me know if we can help you with anything else. We are here for you! 😊

Received the WiFi and successfully conected. 

Can you send me the Qr to send the equipment? I tried with the DHL but they are very studborn.

Hello team,

I have the exact same issue, router is stuck in boot has a blinking power led. How could i request for a replacement?
