Using Netgear Orbi router

Hello,

For many years I have Odido Optic Fiber internet at my home. I am now planning to switch of Netgear Orbi router.

So, i want to know if i should disconnect my “zyxel vmg8825-t50” router and get the internet to the Netgear Orbi Router?

Should i connected the UTP cable coming from the optic fiber box directly to the Netgear Orbi router?

Hello @sujay.sa

Connect your Orbi to the converter instead of the Zyxel and apply the following setting :

After saving and restarting the converter internet should work :)

Hello,

I bought TP link x60, i followed the following steps but couldn't get it working.

1. Disconnected the ZYXEL router.

2. Connected the eth of the glass vezel to my tp link deco x60, and followed the advised steps.

3. No internet on my wifi.

Do I have to do anything else ?

@sujay.sa

In the Deco app go to more, advanced, IPTV/VLAN, enable this option, mode custom, internet VLAN 300, priority 0, save this and restart.

Restart the mediaconverter aswell.
