we bought the 100mb 2 years contract and i have been facing a lot of lag and the ping goes up and down while im playing video games mostly at night and sometimes randomly it stays like that for hours then the next day its back then its lagging again even though i tested it through speed test and on calls or whatever its all good but sometimes i do the speed test on my phone and i see only 30mb or less on the download and upload speed i dont know why but its rare and it happened twice or a few times and then in games which is really annoying i hope someone could help me fix it and respond to me as soon as possible

Do you have a fiber or DSL connection?
Are you gaming via WiFi or a wired connection? And is the console directly connected to the router?
The 30 Mbps is possible if you are connected to 2,4 GHz WiFi.
Restarting the router or ONT doesn't help when the problems occur?
im gaming via wifi on a laptop i used to have a kpn modem but the contract ended and i didnt have any problems with connection via wifi and i tried restarting the modem but its happening now almost everyday for almost two weeks and im sure the wifi is 5g and the connection is fiber and i have the zyxel t-56

Try this:
Go to 192.168.1.1 in your browser and log in with admin and the Login Password behind your router. In the menu go to beveiliging, firewall, Dos, disable this and click on toepassen.
