home internet drops constantly for a few seconds

Hi, since the start of my fiber subscription, I have been having issues where my internet drops intermittently for a few seconds to a few minutes at a time, and mostly (almost always) in the late afternoon to evenings. Much the same as described by the two people in this thread: Link

I have been on the phone with the call centre for months now. They’ve sent a technician to reconfigure the wifi setup, they’ve sent a replacement wifi punt, but still I’m seeing the issue every single evening. 
There seems to be many people having this issue, and this issue does not exist with other ISPs. What’s going on? Can you please help?

Do you have this issue on WiFi and via a wired connection?

Does the internet globe turn red when your connection drops or does it remain green?

Which mediaconverter do you have?

Hi @Waqqas, we don’t really use the wired connection due to where the modem is located at the moment. However, there is never an issue connecting via wifi - I’m always connected to the modem or the extender but the internet connection goes down completely. So when the internet  connection is up, the speed is perfect at 400mbps but then it completely drops to “no internet connection” every few minutes in the evening. 
 

Internet globe does not turn red, all lights are green and stay green throughout.

I’m not sure which media converter it is - see attached photo.

@Waqqas - let me test that tonight (since the drops only happen on the evening). To reiterate: this is already a replacement wifi extender sent by Odido, no difference in result.

Till the evening hours all works fine? If it doesn't improve after removing the repeater than maybe you have thos issue aswell:

@Waqqas - Yes, everything works fine during the day.

Tested it without the extender for two days, but issue persisted.

I’ve been following that thread, but there doesn’t seem to be any proposed solutions or even any recent reactions from Odido on that. @Cheyenne van Odido - can you please help? I am struggling to do anything on my internet in the evening.

Ik heb ook last van deze problemen. Internet valt om de paar minuten uit. Ik zit op het Delta-netwerk en heb een Nokia OTN-box.

Het probleem doet zich voor met of zonder wifi-extender. Het probleem doet zich voor bij bekabelde en draadloze verbindingen. Ik word constant uit games gegooid en websites en video's crashen constant. Dit is onacceptabel, ik wil misschien mijn abonnement opzeggen als dit niet wordt opgelost. 

Hier ziet u een screenshot van de laatste keer dat dit gebeurde.

This just feels like another delay or avoidance tactic. I’ve been having issues with my internet for the past 3 months (since day 1), I’ve been on the phone with support almost daily, but still I am no closer to a solution and I’m paying for a service I’m not getting at all.

i will immediately be exploring my options for cancellation and will pursue a full refund, since I’ve never received what I paid for. As soon as my cellphone contract runs out, I will be moving that away from Odido as well.

The support has been shocking. How can an issue like this persist for 3 months without solution!!? This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a vendor, ever.

It's strange because my system says you have a Media Converter, but in the picture it's actually a Genexis ONT. Can you take a picture of the serial number? Then I'll put you on the list as a tester for KPN @Stras!

@Tommie van Odido - I have ended my contract recently, but I was still invoiced for the penalty of ending the contract early, while so many others in the exact same situation was given a waiver of the penalty. Why is that? Can that amount please be refunded?
