No connection point for wifi in my apartment

Dear All,

I recently bought a T Mobile wifi package on 30/08 & was informed the connection would take effect from 11/09. In the store I informed the staff that my apartment does not seem to have any connection point for DSL (it turns out the apartment has been split some time ago and the connection is being used by my neighbour) & they assured me that an engineer would contact me regarding installation of same. Last week I called the T Mobile/Odido helpline and was advised that a request was made to KPN to contact me in order to arrange for an engineer to come to the apartment and install the required connections. So far I have not been contacted & it has been 3 weeks since I purchased the wifi. I reached out to KPN Netwerk today and they told me as they only deal with fiber optic installations they could not help me any further.

Does anyone know how I should proceed in this instance? Sadly I think I will be forced to cancel the contract with T mobile as I am unable to arrange for anyone to come and install the relevant DSL connection for me.

Thank you,

Matt

Hello @Waqqas

Thank you for your reply!

Do you know if I would be charged for this request? When I spoke to the person at Odido customer service, he was under the impression that KPN should visit the apartment to install a connection point free of charge?!

Best,

Matt

@Matthew Collins

If a whole new connection has to be made then it will not be free, KPN will discuss the costs with you so then you can still decide yes or no.

Repairing of an existing connection is free if Odido sends a ticket.

Thank you @Waqqas , I will try to contact Odido once again to see if there is a possibility for them to send a ticket or not to KPN.

I am just expecting that this will drag out for a number of weeks more & I can’t afford to waste more time without a connection due to working from home.

Best,

Matt
