Maximum Internet Speed Availability at My Address

I have a question about the maximum internet speed available at my address. Currently, I'm an Odido customer and have fiber optic at my apartment with a speed of 1 Gbit/s up and 1 Gbit/s down. If I check my address on the Odido website, it shows that these speeds are available. However, if I check my address on the KPN website, it shows that the 4 Gbit/s (SuperFiber 4) plan is available.

As far as I know, the fiber optic at my apartment building is provided by KPN – at least the technicians who installed it introduced themselves as KPN employees. So my question is: is it possible to stay with Odido and still get 4 Gbit/s at my address?

Thanks for the prompt answer. It’s sad to hear that. Unfortunately, nobody mentioned this when I signed the contract. I mistakenly assumed that 1 Gbit/s was a physical limitation, but it turns out higher speeds are technically possible on the same fiber connection — just not with Odido 🙁

I believe that someday Odido will find a way to reach an agreement with KPN and start offering higher speeds as well.
