Could it be that there is fiber shown as connection possibility in the ZIP code checker?

Hello, it says fibre is a possibilty but not yet. It won’t give me a time when it may be available. But as I say if I change the postcode checker from my appartment on level 4, to the appartment on level 3, the DSL becomes available.

Well, the thing is that once fiber becomes avaliable to be ordered, the DSL option can not be ordered anymore. The DSL connection will be faced out, the other tennants will have to change their subscriptions in the future as well.

Ok thanks. So if DSL option cannot be ordered, and Fibre is not yet ready, do you have any other solutions which could work for us?

You could check if 4G voor thuis can be ordered at your location.

If not, than my advise is to order the fiber connection as a start and use an unlimited datasim in a mifi router as alternative.

You could look at another provider which offers DSL month contracts, and when fiber is available than you can switch to Odido.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately there is no option to choose DSL till fiber is available. Do you know if there is a way to see when fibre will be installed?

If you can order fiber, at least the intention of a local grid operator (not odido) is there. Odido can rent fibers over several large grid operators in the netherlands. But in appartments it is sometimes more difficult to install fibers by the grid operators due to building restrictions and the VVE (appartment owners association).

But if fiber is not in your appartment yet, a couple of months is more lickly than some weeks.
