Register XGS-PON ONU SFP+ Stick

want to use my own XGSPON module. I am planning to buy one of the following:

    I also see that we cannot register the serial number that you have sent us. You can request a username from FS.com, this is the serial number that we can register. Please send this in a DM to the moderator account and let us know in the topic once you have done that together with the verification code. We will then immediately register it for you once we have received the message!

    You mentioned that I can request a "username" from FS.com. Could you please confirm whether you mean the LOID (Logical ONU ID) / PON authentication username of the ONT, or a different credential?

    I got XGSPON ONU SFP+ 1270nm-TX/1577nm-RX, that does not have ssh or web management interfaces and unfortunatelly I am having some trouble getting the “username” from FS.

    Is there any other way to register the SFP i got without the “username”?


    Can you please confirm what you mean with “username”, whether it is the LOID (Logical ONU ID) / PON authentication username of the ONT, or a different credential?

    Taking a look on other theads i see that in one you mention the serial number


    and another you mention again the “username”

    Hi ​@SunVale, I have checked it with a colleague of mine. Is there a number or code that starts with GPON? If so, could you share this privately via our Moderator account? According to what we can find, that is the number we need!

    Hello ​@SunVale 

    The reason you are unable to register the serial number of this specific FS SFP module is because it is not a fully functional ONT (Optical Network Terminal), but merely a 'dumb' transceiver.
