Register XGS-PON

Hi, my old XGS-PON has gone completely unusable due to overheating, I have to constantly blow a mini fan at it to get an internet connection. I have another one laying around that is the same model and I rather use that than waiting for a technician. Could someone please help me register it? Thank you so much in advance.

Hi ​@kai197923, I am here to help! I can ofcourse help with our ONT, but if you want to register your own ONT this is possible to. I just send you a private message via our Moderator account to verify your details. Can you also share your ModemID in this private conversation? When you have done this, please inform this topic that you have provided the information. That way my colleagues and I can help!

Also, the details regarding your ONT are not useable. Can you check this modemID (or PON ID)  for registration. Maybe you can google for your own device where you can find this?

​@Cheyenne van Odido Hi, the verification code is 8675845. The new device I am using is the same model as what Odido use, only a different version, which is the Huawei optixstar. I googled what the modem id is and it says it is the 16 digit serial number, is that the case? If so, did you use that as modem id and it didn’t work?
