Hello,

I have a house on three floors.

On the ground floor there is a router: Zyxel T54.

On the first and second floor there are two wired Wi-Points: Zyxel WAP6807.

Internet works kind of OK. There are problems at times with some devices, and at times internet just drops…..I am waiting for Glass fiber since December 2022 to get a more reliable and faster internet.

Do you use the MPro Mesh? It does not show the repeaters, it does not show all the connected devices. Is it a worth app?

Hey @adammaro, welcome to our Community!

How exactly did you connect the two wifi points? Did you connect both points to the modem or one wifi point to a wifi point? The ideal situation is in fact Zyxel -> WAP 1 wired -> WAP 2 wireless. In that way, WAP 2 connects to WAP 1. We have written a topic about the app, it contains everything you need to know about it!

Hello Tommy,

thanks for the reply. Can you share the link you are referring to?

I thought it was a better quality if  the WifPoints are connected via cable, no?

Cheers,

Antono

Hi @adammaro,

@Tommie already shared the link. If you click on ‘âWifi Plus] Zyxel MPro App’, you'll be taken to the topic.

If that doesn't work, T-Mobile has a new type of Wifi Point: WX5600. This one works much better with the T54 router. A moderator can arrange a swap for you.
