Greetings,

I can't find "private" fields in my profile to provide to Odido support to enable my XGSPON ONU (Zaran). Is it because I use mobile version?

I thought that would be simple 😅 What/how do I miss it?

If I understand the process of registering ONU module for my router correctly, I need to put some information into some private field(s) of my profile so that admins can register it (e.g. Zaram module SN, etc.). Somehow I don't see any private fields in my profile.

UPD: all went fine with no issues at all. No additional configuration was necessary to make it work, except setting the same VLAN 300 on the new WAN port of the router.

Thanks!

Hello @YevhenB

Those fields have been removed for now, it's still possible to register your Zaram SFP, please wait for a moderator to reply and they'll help you.

Hi @YevhenB, not to worry! I am here to help. I just send you a private message to verify your account. When you have provided all the details privately, give me a reminder that you did in this topic. This way all my colleagues can help. Thanks in advance!

@YevhenB Just to add some context regarding the profile fields: we removed them following the recent data breach. A lot of information was stolen from one of our databases and, while the community itself thankfully wasn’t impacted, we decided to remove those fields as a precaution and to keep things as safe as possible.

For now, the best option is still to share the required details via private message, as @Cheyenne van Odido mentioned. Good luck!

Thank you everyone. I'm privately messaging with Cheyenne to provide the necessary info.

As for the actual switch and any potential issues I'll keep everyone posted in case there will be anything that someone else can benefit from.

My plan is to switch from the default Odido's media converter (Huawei) to Zaram module and plug it into Unifi UGC Fiber router to use internet over fiber directly.
