Question number 1:

Out of curiosity I looked at specs of  Zyxel T-56 and realized that it has 2.5G WAN port.

And then I got very confused, why with 8G subscription we get router with 2.5G WAN port? :)

If assumption is that customer will use it’s own router, then why waste Zyxels?

I am missing a bit of logic here :)

Question number 2:

This one bother me for decade already. If I understand it right, we have to fibers coming to home (blue and green in my case ).  Why? Just redundancy in case if one will get damaged? Or there is another possible use case?

  1. You get a different modem with 8 gigabit.
  2. Almost all providers place two fibers for future aplications.

Looked in google, indeed, it looks like I was supposed to get Zyxel T-75.

Got T-56 ,probably, by mistake.

Everything, which can go wrong with this upgrade,  went wrong )))

Just to be sure, you didnt make a upgrade with higher speeds after you received the t-56?

@antst I immediately made a request to our Back Office to provide you with the right router (T-75). No worries, they will fix this for you!
