I bought a new phone and asked to keep my old number. They told me the portability will be finished in two days and still does not work. I cannot connect to the network with either the old or new SIM card. Please help.

Could you insert the new simcard and restart your phone? If it still doesn't work than the simcard is not activated maybe. You can check this in your My T-Mobile account under sim & toestel.
If your simcard is not activated than the best option is to go to a T-Mobile shop so they can get it activated and working for you.
