No service and data in Spain

Hi. I had to arrange a plan for a payment that i had to delay for some reason, I had a problem with my credit card. I’m currently in Spain so right now it results as I don’t have data and service. I’d ask if it’s possibile to unlock it. My first payment should be the 22/04 I’m also willing to pay it before. Thank you so much for your help

Thank you so much for sending me your new IBAN via DM. As promised, I’ve added your new IBAN. The processing time is 14 days, so invoices that have already been issued may still be debited from your old IBAN.

You can pay these manually. The correct account number for manual payments is NL03 COBA 0733 9597 17 in the name of Odido. Please always include your customer number in the payment description so we can correctly match the payment. You can find your customer number in the top right corner of your invoice.

Is there anything else I can do for you? Please let me know!

Hello @Gianmarco Russo

You can either pay the total amount at once so the barring can be lifted or wait for a moderator, in most cases they can remove the barring for you.

Good morning Gianmarco Russo, how great that you’re in Spain! I’ll gladly make sure you can be reachable again as soon as possible. Due to the payment arrangement, there is indeed a block on your subscription for use abroad. This is applied automatically to prevent additional charges. Don’t worry—I’ll remove the block for you like @Waqqas said.

However, we do need to enable the following blocks to prevent unexpected costs:

  • Block for 0906–0909 numbers
  • Third-party purchases
  • Paid content services
  • App Store purchases via the Odido bill
  • Online payments to third parties via the Odido bill

Once the payment arrangement has been fully paid off, you can contact us and we can remove these blocks again. Please keep in mind that because you’re abroad, it may take up to 48 hours before your subscription works again.

I’ve just sent you a private message to verify your details. Once verification is complete, we’ll continue in this topic. This way, there will always be a colleague available to help you. I look forward to your private message!

Great, thank you so much! I’ve removed the block for you right away so you can be reachable again as soon as possible. As I mentioned, since you’re abroad it can take up to 48 hours before everything works again.

Want to get it working sooner? Try these tips:

  • Restart your phone while you’re abroad. This helps your phone reconnect to the network.
  • Turn roaming on. Check that “roaming” or “data roaming” is enabled, otherwise your mobile network won’t work.
  • Select the network manually. Go to your phone settings, turn off automatic network selection, and choose a different network. Available networks in Spain are:
    • Orange Spain
    • Telefónica Móviles España
    • Vodafone Spain
    • Xfera Móviles, S.A.U.

Could you let me know once it’s working again? And if you have any questions, just let me know—I'm happy to help!

@Demy van Odido hi! I still have no service

@Demy van Odido hi! Still nothing, could you help me out?

Hi @Gianmarco Russo, I am sorry! The block was put on your subscription again because of the outstanding amount. We can't stop this, because it can take up to 48 hours before the block is removed. I just removed the block again, please check the previous message from Demy how to get your connection working ASAP. Keep me updated!

@Cheyenne van Odido good morning! Thank you so much, at the moment still nothing but I’ll keep you posted.

@Demy van Odido @Cheyenne van Odido good morning, I still have no service. Could you help me please?

Hi Gianmarco! I can see that there is no active block on your connection anymore. Have you gone through the steps above? Are you able to manually select a different network? Have you tried different networks? If it still doesn’t work, could you let me know until when you’ll be in Spain?

@Demy van Odido good morning! Now it’s working. I’ve another question tho. As I mentioned I had problems with the credit card associated with my number, I’m trying to change card on the Odido app but unsuccessfully

Good morning @Gianmarco Russo  That’s correct—you currently can’t do this via your phone. As mentioned above:

However, we do need to enable the following blocks to prevent unexpected costs:

  • Block for 0906–0909 numbers
  • Third-party purchases
  • Paid content services
  • App Store purchases via the Odido bill
  • Online payments to third parties via the Odido bill

Once the payment arrangement has been fully paid off, you can contact us and we can remove these blocks again.

Because of the payment arrangement, payments to third parties—so including your credit card—are not possible via Odido. Once you’ve fully paid off the arrangement, please let us know and we’ll remove the block for you.

@Demy van Odido hi! The problem is that, in order to pay, I need to switch card

Hi Gianmarco, I'm not sure if I completely understand. Do you want to change your current payment method/IBAN to a different one? Which of the following are you paying by credit card?

  • Block for 0906–0909 numbers
  • Third-party purchases
  • Paid content services
  • App Store purchases via the Odido bill
  • Online payments to third parties via the Odido bill

You should be able to pay the outstanding amount via your current payment method/IBAN and then the barrings can be removed so that you can use your credit card again for the list above.

@Marciano van Odido hi, sorry for the late reply. I only pay my subscription with the current card but I need to switch it with another card

Good morning Gianmarco, it’s great that you want to keep your payment method up to date, that way all future payments can be processed correctly. Could you send me your new IBAN in a private message? I’ll update it for you right away!

As soon as I receive your IBAN, I’ll follow up on you in this topic.

@Anouk van Odido  I would like to ask you if it’s possible to arrange a new payment session or if I can postpone some of the invoices I’ve open. I recently had some health problems and lost my job, got one today so a bit of more time would be amazing since also I’m not really using this number anymore since the bundle is not working in Spain for the data I’m still keeping the number just for finishing paying the iPhone

Hi Gianmarco, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having some health issues. Of course, I want to congratulate you on your new job, that’s great!

I see that you have a total outstanding balance of € 222,72, it is important that € 144,82 of this amount be paid as soon as possible. The amount consists of:

- March invoice 90xx373, € 51,93, due date April 3

- April invoice, 90xx767, € 66,93, due date May 1

- Term 1, € 25,96, due date April 22

Since the due date has passed, I cannot make a new payment plan or grant a deferral for this portion of the outstanding amount. However, once you have paid the amount, I can see if I can add a new invoice for you to the payment plan.

You can pay via My Odido or you can manually transfer the amount to us. The correct account number for manual payments is NL03 COBA 0733 9597 17 in the name of Odido. Always include your customer number in the description so we can correctly link the payment. You can find your customer number in the top right corner of your invoice. Please note that processing a manual payment takes 3 business days.

Will you let me know once the payment has gone through? Then I’ll look into a new payment plan for you!

@Anouk van Odido hi I sent you a private message
