Ok, hold on, so it ia clear you tried something while you mentioned in the start post that you changed no settings.. you have an Apple, so the esim transfer is an Apple thing. Maybe it was not a good idea to so that while abroad? The solution is getting a new esim is hardly possible while abroad. Are you back soon? Than you can get this sorted our in an Odido shop.

Do you have payment issues or a payment plan? Than roaming is disabled.

No i don’t have  those issues I’ve been abroad for months and today it stopped. I think Odido messed up my simcard after I tried to transfer it to my new phone. A process for an error message and neither of the phones have network!

It is eSIM replacement from Odido app.not a new eSIM. I have to do that in order to install it on the new iPhone. That is expected and the only process in Odido. Before it worked seamlessly however since last year multiple times it didn’t work! I have three contracts with Odido sand for none of them I was ever able to do eSIM replacements! But the lack of meteor now is not due to billing or my stupidity. If billing was an issue I would still have network but could not use internet, call sms. Right now I am simply offline without any network. On all three phones! Not only on the one I was trying to install new eSIM on but all three!

Traveling to Thé Netherlands to replace eSIM raises questions on the whole absurdity of existence of eSIM as a service.

My advise is always to use a regular sim. Specially when people are often abroad. A regular sim is easy to transfer,  even when it is for a short moment to do a test with a different phone.

Thanks for all your replies but this is a useless advise. I did not explicitly ask for such recommendations what simcards to use for travel as eSIM is my choice and worked until today. Please allow Odido employee respond now.
