Google Pixel 8 Pro (custom rom) with Odido Prepaid SIM cannot make calls via 4G Calling/VoLTE

About a year ago, a Google Pixel 8 Pro with an Odido prepaid SIM (still T-Mobile branding at the time) was put into operation. The phone is mainly used in Germany, sometimes also in the Netherlands. 4G calling/VoLTE cannot be used. 4G network access works in the Netherlands and Germany for mobile internet.

The following has already been tried:

1.reset network settings in the settings of the SIM
-in NL
-in GER/DE
2. reset network settings in the app settings in the “Factory settings” area
-in NL
-in GER/DE
3.reconfigure the APN, manual configuration of the APN
-in NL
-in GER/DE
4. approx. 5 support calls and e-mail contact with Odido customer service
-in NL (Odido network)
-in GER/DE (T-Mobile Germany network)

None of these attempts have been successful.

I would ask that a technician with the appropriate competence and authority contact me to finally solve the problem. I would also appreciate a refund of around 10-15 euros to cover the costs of the unsuccessful phone calls to support.

Since there were problems opening the thread, the issue has already been partially answered here:

1st You always get different statements. On the one hand, 4G Calling should also work with prepaid, which was even stated on some Odido websites during my last research. On the other hand, you get the statement that prepaid SIMs are not intended for 4G calling/VoLTE. What is finally true?
2 If 4G Calling/VoLTE cannot be used with prepaid SIMs:

With kind regards

Prepaid support abroad has been always less than subscriptions.  In some countries you even can not make mobile originating calls due to the technical nature of realtime billing. Sms/data in these countries work fine as they are always "home routed".

So if you want to use all networks abroad, a small subscription is needed. It is not possible to pay 2 years ahead, such subscriptions are called "post paid". A regular IBAN number and home adres in the Netherlands is needed to apply for such subscription.
