About a year ago, a Google Pixel 8 Pro with an Odido prepaid SIM (still T-Mobile branding at the time) was put into operation. The phone is mainly used in Germany, sometimes also in the Netherlands. 4G calling/VoLTE cannot be used. 4G network access works in the Netherlands and Germany for mobile internet.
The following has already been tried:
1.reset network settings in the settings of the SIM
-in NL
-in GER/DE
2. reset network settings in the app settings in the “Factory settings” area
-in NL
-in GER/DE
3.reconfigure the APN, manual configuration of the APN
-in NL
-in GER/DE
4. approx. 5 support calls and e-mail contact with Odido customer service
-in NL (Odido network)
-in GER/DE (T-Mobile Germany network)
None of these attempts have been successful.
I would ask that a technician with the appropriate competence and authority contact me to finally solve the problem. I would also appreciate a refund of around 10-15 euros to cover the costs of the unsuccessful phone calls to support.
Since there were problems opening the thread, the issue has already been partially answered here:

1st You always get different statements. On the one hand, 4G Calling should also work with prepaid, which was even stated on some Odido websites during my last research. On the other hand, you get the statement that prepaid SIMs are not intended for 4G calling/VoLTE. What is finally true?
2 If 4G Calling/VoLTE cannot be used with prepaid SIMs:
- how antiquated is that please?
- is Odido aware that in case of roaming in Germany there is no 3G network, so the phone falls back to 2G, including unusable data connection?
T-Mobile Germany has already completely switched off the 3G network and announced the 2G switch-off for 2028:

https://www.telekom.com/de/medien/medieninformationen/detail/mehr-speed-auf-alten-frequenzen-2g-abschaltung-sorgt-fuer-besseres-netz-1081802 - Is it possible to book an additional option that activates 4G calling on prepaid cards?
- Is it possible to book and pay for a fixed-term contract anonymously? For example, by charging the full fee for 2 years in advance?
With kind regards
