Hello, I had a phone number in another company and today was the day it would be transferred to Odido. There was no connection though and I tried to delete my old eSim (from the previous carrier) and download the one from the QR. I can't download it though. I use a second mobile phone and activated the eSim there without knowing it can be activated only once. What can I do in this situation? Do I need a new eSim? And my phone number will be the same too?

Hello @o.antoniad, welcome to our Community! Well nice if you are using the right eSIM and that it is also activated and paired with the right device, let's look at a solution together!

I looked right away and I see that your number was transferred to us yesterday. This can sometimes take 24 hours to fully transfer, but I see that it is now complete.

I also see that your new eSIM is paired and activated with your subscription. You can indeed always scan a QR code of the eSIM once, due to security reasons. Is it not currently paired with the correct device? Then you can easily request a new eSIM for free via your MyOdido account. The QR code will then appear in your MijnOdido account, which you can scan with the right device. The activation can then also be easily done by sending an SMS verification to your old eSIM or using iDIN (bank verification). Your number will just stay the same, only your SIM card will be changed to a new eSIM.

Will that work? If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know. I'm here for you!

Hello! I went to an Odido store close to me yesterday and the employee gave me a new eSim. Everything works now!

@o.antoniad Nice that you were able to arrange it in our store, that is indeed the fastest way to get a new eSIM activated. Glad everything is working well, I'm happy about that!
