Whose bright idea was it not to allow to get the subscriptions for the whole family?

Family Hostile Service

I saw some good prices and decided to switch my internet and phone subscriptions for the family from KPN to Odido.

Spent quite a lot of time setting up Internet subscription and mobile one for myself and my wife.

Then wanted to buy 2 phones with subscription for my kids, who have a birthday this week.

And surprisingly found out that I cannot order it. The company literally doesn't want my money. The Support told me that I cannot buy the phones for my kids now as I need to wait a month to buy any more services from them.

Just how stupid and ridiculous can that be? You literally cannot switch to them in one go if you have a family.

Now, I need to cancel Internet and 2 mobile subscriptions, which I was able to do first.

EDIT. Odido reply below is totally false as well. First of all, I didn't get a single Phone credit yet. The 2 subscriptions I did, were sim only. So, it doesn't allow to buy even 1 phone. And I don't need a credit for it, I could pay all in advance.

Secondly, their service doesn't allow me to get a 3rd and 4th sim only anyway. So, as I said, Odido is totally hostile to families and it's not possible to buy their services.

I already ordered the phones from another store. So, Odido just refused to take more than one thousand euros for the phones and also will lose now 5 new subscriptions (4 phone subs + one home internet). Fantastic job. I hope someone from the management will see this. Imagine, how many more customers and money you lose this way.

It is indeed true that you can order one phone credit per month. This is partly due to a credit check we have to perform before you can take out a subscription. However, you may choose to take out Sim Only subscriptions first and apply for a phone credit later. With “ samen unlimited”  you can start with one unlimited variant and than order new subscriptions with the same proposition as the “ main subscription”  for only 20 euro.  The first number need to be up and running, than you can order no 2,3 and 4. The whole idea of “ samen unlimited’  is to make a family deal with more sims in your account, so that will for sure be possible!

When online give you some trouble, there are 140 shops in The netherlands that can help you, or call the customer care under 0800-0092.
