Hello,
Im a Klik en Klaar customer since may 2025.

At first I had a problem with the SIM card - it didn't work properly in the store (idk why), so I got a replacement router. I don't remember which one - some Huawei 4G indoor. The internet worked great for 2 weeks - top speed all the time. When the SIM card arrived for the Zyxel 5g router in the mail, I sent the Huawei router back to Odido. Then the problems started.

I have problems with the connection dropping quite often. 200Mbps and 1min later 30mbps or even 0mbps for like X seconds, minutes. I live 500m away from the mast. When I restart the router it helps for a while, sometimes even longer but it's starting to get frustrating. Any solutions?

First screenshot without speedtest was 0mbps and 1min later instantly 150mbps

The priority for klik and klaar sims is lower than general subscriptions.  If you are in a busy radiocell, the klik and klaar speed can result in this.

More lickely,  the radio reception needs to be improved. Look for a different spot.

Thanks for the informatiom Eric!😀Is maybe Odido planning finally some modernization on the mast? It only has n28 and hasn't been touched since 26-05-2022. According to the antennekaart website all within a radius of X kilometers were modernized/tuned in november 2025

If the mast only has n28 it will not work with Klik en Klaar. It needs N78, perhaps N1 will also work now.

What does the klik en klaar 5G coverage map tell you on your adress, it should probably be bad. It is not the same as the normal 5G coverage.

Your temporary modem had no limit on 5G bands and also works on N28 so no issues there.

The maps says Plus but  50-100meters away it says snel.
According to Cellular info from the Zyxel router I am connected to Cell ID 7068169 which according to antennekaart website is this mast

5G

4G

So I'm connected to 4G B3. The sentence that it only has n28 5g was poorly worded, my bad sorry. The question is more whether there will be an extension with n78 on this mast in the near future?

Looking at the description of the masts both will probably be relocated and only then upgraded to N78.

The speeds you see are typically 4G speeds. Wich are as expected and also according the coverage maps. Official max speed is 300 Mbps. In practice it can be much higher when using 5G.

So you will have to wait until the masts are relocated and upgraded. Or buy your own 5G modem without the band limitations.
