iphone 17 pro delivery

I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro, Silver (256) on September 15. I cannot even see a status as if the ordered wasn’t even placed. Is there any update on time frames?

 

I don’t really get what is the point of “pre-ordering” if the times will be as a regular order…
