I have been experiencing lag and a sort of internet drop even when using lan cables. I ordered a new router(GL inet flint 3) hoping to fix this issue but it is not receiving internet when connect to the ONT although it works with the old router(zyxel). Any tips?

You need to set VLAN 300 on the WAN port.
