How to check DSL connection?

I’m asking as i’m unsure of where my DSL port is in my house so wanted to check if the internet isnt working because of the connection, or because im wrong in terms of where i plugged it in.

I can’t find any dsl port in my meter cupboard - this is all i see, which i believe is for Ziggo:

The only other entry i found was this port in the living room, would that be it?

Appreciate your help on this!

The box you put in the photo is a Coax connection.  The Isra point for DSL should look like:

Yeah, that’s the issue unfortunately, can’t find any of these in the apartment - could they be somewhere else?

If your home has a crawl space, you could look there to see if you see a cable in a blue mantle, this is the KPN cable. Otherwise, a technician must come by to locate the ISRA point and maybe repair it.

How would i go about getting a technician to come by - can you help me with that or should i contact KPN directly?

Oh i think i found the cable - found this light grey cable marked “telefone” - i need to connect this to the connection box provided then right?

Does it have red/blue/orange/white wires in it? You can connect red and blue in the connection box, plug the DSL/PHONE cable in it which goes to the modem.

Orange and white can also be tried if red and blue don't work.

If you still need a mechanic then please wait for a moderator to reply.
