Hi there,

I recently activated an 8Gbps home internet plan. While the download speeds appear to be working as expected, the upload speed is consistently capped at 2 Gbps rather than 8 Gbps.

Could this indicate an issue with my speed profile or provisioning? All relevant account and service details should be available in my profile.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Hello @farox

Was the upload good when you were using the Zyxel router?

Otherwise you will have to install the Odido equipment again so Odido can check this for you.

On what hardware are your running.

(If it’s a UDM, it could also be due to Smart Queues/QoS or IDS/IPS settings)

No Ubiquiti here—just OPNsense running on my own hardware. No IPS enabled; it’s a direct connection to the internet.

What caught my attention was the ~8 Gbps download speed and how precisely the upload is capped at 2 Gbps.

LAN-to-LAN is 10 Gbps in both directions with no issues, which makes me suspect something on Odido’s side.
