Returned modem but got notification that it was returned back to the sender

Hello,

I already returned the modem to Odido on 1st of March 2025 but in DHL app I see that the packages was returned to the sender on the 4th of March. Now I do not know where the package is because I did not get it back or anything. By the way I also did not get any update about this status change from DHL but saw it by chance since I got curious what happened to the package.

If this modem is not returned in time, it says I will be charged a fee of 75€.

Could you please let me know what's happening because I will not be paying this fee since I send the modem to Odido on time.

You're right, “returned to sender” is an unfortunate choice of words. In this case, the original sender is Odido and you're returning the device. It can take a few days until returns are processed by Odido, so there's nothing to worry about right now. If you haven't received a confirmation by, let's say, the end of next week, please report back in this topic. A moderator can then find out where the package is.
