In June 2026, Odido processed a new 24-month contract renewal on my account without my consent. I only discovered this after an SMS and email about it - I had never had contact with the employee named in it. When I called Odido myself to ask about it, the employee assured me nothing had changed on my contract, even though the renewal had already been processed.
I filed a formal written complaint the next day. Odido confirmed in writing that the order would not be resolved before I received a written response. That promise was broken: the complaint was closed internally after two days with no explanation, and Odido later told me by phone it would not provide any written response - despite its own terms promising a substantive reply within 30 days.
When I called to cancel the disputed order, the employee read from a script claiming I had personally requested this renewal by phone. I disputed this immediately and repeatedly. I had it cancelled, but to date have received no explanation or compensation.
I've since filed a report with ACM ConsuWijzer and a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. I might go forward to De Commissie Telecommunicatiediensten. Has anyone else here had a similar experience - a contract renewal you didn't request yourself?
