It’s really disappointing that I can cancel online, but switching to PrePaid requires a phone call.
This adds unnecessary friction and misaligned incentives: why is it easier to leave than to remain a customer?
If there’s no straightforward online option to PrePaid transfer, I'll proceed to cancel my subscription.

First it was possible for the moderators to handle cancellations and switching to prepaid, that has changed unfortunately.
You vaan also use the contactform on the website.

You can just order a mobile subscription online and than check the box for “Number portability” then you fill in your prepaid number and off you go!
Ideally I would like it to be converted into a PrePaid and keep my current phone number as a backup.
I was under the impression Odido is a customer-friendly company and the transfer is easy to do. If that’s not the case, then I’ll just cancel it.
I don’t like calling any customer support service, waiting in line, hearing the same boring song while I’m being transferred to someone that tries to upsell me - an awful experience which I’m always trying to avoid.

Ah, the other way around! No, unfortunatly, you can not do that business online or via this forum. The way to go is calling to the customer care or go to one of the 120 Odido shops.
