I did not activate the number but odido take my money for 10 months


I requested a sim card with subscription at Jan 2024, but never activated it. Now when I check my bank balance, I noticed Odido deducted my money every month for a number I never used. How can I get my money back?

Hi ​@shingoxx222 thanks for filling out your profile information! I looked right away and I see that it is the number ending in ***0406, is that correct? This subscription was requested by yourself through our website at: 20-01-2024. However, I see that you had requested number portability so that your number could be transferred to us. Only, I see that this request was rejected, so the subscription started on 19-5-2024 with the temporary number. Number portability can also be requested afterwards, but up to a maximum of 120 days. Because the subscription already started last year, it is now no longer possible to request Number Retention for your own number. 

Do you want the subscription to be stopped? I see that it still runs until 18-5-2026. If you want to discontinue it, the earliest you can do so is after one month's notice and you have to buy off the subscription. You then pay 50% of the monthly fee for the remaining months. 

I cannot cancel the subscription for you, as this is no longer possible in this way. You can only cancel it by phone by calling 0800-0092. This can be done from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 to 17:30. They will be happy to help you with this!

I also never got any email/notification that the sim card is activated

Hello ​@shingoxx222 Welcome to our Community, I am happy to give you more clarity on this! Do I understand correctly that you have applied for a Sim Only subscription with us? As soon as you receive your SIM card, it will be activated automatically almost immediately (unless you have requested number portability, in which case the subscription will start when your number is transferred to us). You won't receive an e-mail that your SIM card has been activated. You can always check the status in your My Odido account. 

I suspect that the subscription started immediately when you received the SIM card. I would be happy to check your account with you to see exactly what happened. 

Could you provide your full name, phone number, zip code + house number, date of birth and the last 4 digits of the bank account number known to us in your profile and let me know when you have done this? Then I can check with you!

Hello ​@shingoxx222 Thanks for filling out your profile information! I see the only thing you haven't filled in is your phone number, could you fill it in for me (only if you have a mobile subscription with us). Or is it an Internet + TV subscription? I do see a customer number of Internet + TV subscription in your profile, but I see that that subscription is no longer active. 

Can you indicate what kind of subscription it is? If it is about your mobile subscription, then enter your phone number in your profile, so that I can check with you!

I've updated my mobile number. You are right it was a mobile subscription, but I suppose my number is different from the one in subscription.
