Hi Team, I want to cancel my SIM only 12 month contract as I'll be leaving the Netherlands by end of February 2025. Can you please help me with cancellation process ?

 

Hello ​@Shriram , welcome to our Community! Very understandable that you want to cancel your subscription, since you are going abroad. I'll be happy to help you with this! 

I immediately checked your subscription and I see that you are still in contract until 21/01/2026. If you want to end the contract earlier, you need to buy it off. You then pay 50% of the monthly costs for the remaining months. I can stop your subscription at the earliest on 28/02/25 due to one month's notice. I made the calculation for you right away and if I stop the subscription for you on that date, it will cost you € 77,73. 

If you agree, I can take care of it for you. I just need to do an additional verification to make sure that you are the right person. I have sent a verification code by SMS to your number. Can you share it with me? Then I can set it up for you!

@Pharwin van Odido Unexpectedly, I'll be moving out of the Netherlands by this weekend. 

 

I'm fine with SIM working till 28/02/2025 for one month's notice. Can I buyout the subscription and finish my formalities before leaving the Netherlands this weekend ?


@Pharwin van Odido Please ignore the process from your (community) side. I spoke to Odido customer care over the call. They have already terminated my contract and my SIM will cease to work from tomorrow. I have been asked not to pay penalty as I'm still in my thinking period of 15  days. Thanks, have a nice day
