I’ve some query regarding my internet connection activation date.

 

I need to reach out to odido team and I’m currently out of Netherlands and hence couldn’t call them via phone. Is there a effective communciation method, I could reach out to them.

I’m getting a new internet connection, I requested the signal to be activated on 15th Nov however, Odido said it will be activated on 19th Nov. I’d like to see whether I can get it earlier as it is urgent for me.

Dates which you request are always wish dates. Depending on the schedules of the grid operator the orders are planned and that can not be altered.

If this is a DSL connection, you can try to connect on the 15th. The DSL grid operator normally connects a few days earlier. 

If this is a fiber connection, than the question is, is there already a fiber cable in your house? If yes, than you will receive the router and an appointment link for the internet router installation engineer. You can than make an appointment. 

If no fiber is entering the house yet, it is lickely that there will be some more delay. The wish date will be communicated to the Fiber grid operator in you region, but there are a lot of tasks and activities to be completed before the installation engineer can come over.

Unfortunatly, there are no ways to speed up this proces. What I can recommend you is to but a Klik and Klaar solution for the time beeing. This is a wireless 5G product and can be cancelled with only one month cancellation period and has also no starting fees. The modem/router is also included in the 25 euro!


Hello, This is a fiber connection and the house already has the fiber installed.

 

The router is already received, and when I tried to make the appointment with the installation, it said that I can do it from 20th only since the signal will be activated on 19th.

 

Since the fiber installation is already available and the routers are received, I’d like to get the signals activated earlier, so that I can make an appointment with the installing party earlier. I checked with Guidion (who is doing the installation) and below is the reply I got from them.

“What I see is that the signal will be activated on 19-11. For that reason we can't plan the appointment earlier.”

 

so my ask, can you please activate the signal earlier since everything needed is in place already :)


As mentioned, the grid provider has to make the needed patches and preperations. This is the earliest day possible. You could order klik and klaar for 1 month so even when there is any further (technical) delay, you have an internetconnection at home.


Thank you.. With klik and klaar, is the amount of data limited on 5G or is it unlimited.

There is no limit on the use of data with Klik&Klaar but if you use more than 2TB in a month than your priority will be lower on the mobile network.
