terrible fibre with odido - I never had that huge latency

Hi,

Since i moved from kpn to odido I have at leasy one a week and sometimes every single evening a issue with the internet. 

The speed itself is reaching almost 1 GB, but what from the speed with the latency of 646 ms?!

This makes internet impossible to use, and what I heard it is not only me having an issue in my area.

Dont ask me about the router and anything from my site - I am using the same router as I used with kpn, and basically from the first days it is terrible.

Really peace off and I will look for a solutions to change this company. It is fucking nightmare.

 

See the below result from the speed test, which failed 10 times because of latency error.

And just before you will tell me to check the wifi: It is a wire connection.

I’ve immediately tried to take a look at your connection. However, it seems like my system doesn’t have access at all. Do you have our router connected or another device? If so, please connect our router. I also want to ask you to reboot the router as well as the ONT (fiber box). In this topic you can see the steps on how to do this: Reboot modem | Odido community

You just showing me how poor quality of odido is if you even cannot read completle my message and respect my wish.

I will repeat that - this is not an issue on my site with my router - it is the same router as it was with previous provider.

The internet speed and latency is highly depend of the time of day - it is usually a mess at evenings - 19-21

hi ​@deos ,

Try to keep talking on a normal level with people please. The only way Odido can take a look at your connection and start troubleshoot procedures is to connect to the Zyxel router via a management VLAN. 

So, when you open a trouble report, just temporarily connect the Zyxel and let them check first. If it is needed they will assign the report to the backoffice and they can arrange the needed (onsite) support. Once everything is verified and working fine on the Zyxel router, you can reconnect your own router again.

And again few days the internet was working good and today I even don't need to do speed test I can feel already - websites are needs time to start opening. Apps are constantly loading before they are opened.

If you can check only via your router. Tell me what could cause the issue I will check it on my router.

@Teresa van Odido super, today since 9 am i don't have internet at all. No info from Odido about outage, nothing. My zyxel is connected now. Be my guest to check what is going on. The connection light was green all 6 hours when there was no internet. I restart the device and since then is flashing.

I will say it again, I never had that issue with kpn on the same fibre.

your hope will not be fulfilled so quickly,

Earliest time for mechanic Is Monday,

If this is connected to my huge lag, it as I told from begining - there is no issue with the router.
