Hi Community  🙂

Sorry that the messaging will be in English , Just started to learn Dutch ,iam not going Enough to talk technical about internet speeds.

So My Question is :

I have new 8gbit up and 8gbit down speed Subscription with T75 and Huawel HN8010Ts-20 XGS-PON Terminal

I have the T75 just as Modern with the wifi off

Then i use the T75  for  connected to Asus GT-BE98 router for wifi 6E and wifi 7 clients.I use  Cat 8 cables for the mesh backhaul system with  10G Switch that i use with My NAS and Ps5 ,Mac etc

I Do a lot off photo editing and 4k video editing

As well off a lot off gaming  😁

My problem is iam only getting 50% or 40% off  the 8gbit  speed ??????

I know i cannot get the Max speed off 8gb  up and down But i should be able to achieve around 6gb to 7gb

Not!

3756.48mbps download

2256.56 mbps upload

The best seed i have got from Server on speedtest

is from

Zenex 5ive Limited Dronten is

4020.69mbps download

2542.46 mbps upload

So i would appreciate it if anyone can give me advice or tips

or tell me that i miss setting to tick in a box off a menu in menu off a box🙄

Kind regards

Hello @Marc48

How did you test the speed? Connect a laptop or pc directly to the T75 and use the Ookla speedtest app, what result do you get?

Restarting the ONT can help or maybe test another cable between ONT and router.

Make sure there is no switch in between and you can also try another cable.

hi 😀

thank you for replying

i use only the T75 to asus GT-BE98 with cat 8  ethernet cable

everything eles was switch off

kind regards

@Marc48

Could you perform a wired speedtest while connected to the T75? Disconnéct your own router while testing.

I did the paper clip reset on everthing today

I did that I max out at 2.3G

only Speedtest that i  can do is through the  router because that can do the high speed

The Huawei 10g port is connect to  T75 10g port then to Asus 10G port that how I test for high speed

@Marc48

When you connect a laptop wired to the 10G LAN port instead of your Asus it should give you the full speed.

8 gbit for one laptop/pc is a lot. It probably can not handle such speedtest.  Does it has a 10 gbit lan interface? These internet subscriptions are mend for more devices which can have high speed in paralell. Than your LAN need to be up to date as well....

No matter which way I try, I still get the same Internet speeds

Hi @Marc48, thanks for posting pictures of the speedtests! Could you also try connecting your laptop directly to the 10 Gbit/s port of the T-75 router as Waqqas has also suggested? It immediately shows whether the speeds are going down at the T-75 modem, or at the Asus router. There are also several other reasons why the internet speed is lower:

1. As Eric suggested, please check if your laptop can handle 8 Gbit/s speeds.

2. Do not use a UTP Optimizer or any other form of switch.

3. Use the speedtest.net desktop app instead of a browser version.

4. Turn firewall off and check other speedreducing software.

5. CPU load could be too high.

6. Enable acceleration in the menu of the modem. Menu under LAN => Swich Control : NAT Acceleration. (Not applicable for Zyxel modem)

I am curious which options help you out, I would love to see you enjoy super high speeds!
