Hi @internetuser023, welcome to our Community!
I'm happy to watch with you. The latest firmware is on the modem, this has to do with something else. Now I see that you have already disabled wifi 6. It could also be that the eufy is having trouble with WPA-3. I have now switched from WPA-3 to WPA-2. Would you like to reboot the modem and ONT and see if you can connect to the modem now? Other devices may not be able to connect, in which case you will need to completely forget about the network on the client and then reconnect.
Hi, thank you for the response, I see now there is a b10 indeed. I have already tried the wpa2, based on the eufy troubleshooting page, but didn’t work. Tried it today also, still can’t connect. Where can I change to wifi6? Can that influence the connection? Anyway, heard that might have to order a eufy homebase and have it connected with an ethernet cable and then it might work. Will update once I can do that.
ps, seems that the wpa2 is not stable, keeps blocking me out from my wifi on my phone, having to forget and reintroduce the password, same with my laptop, every two minutes it asks me to put my wifi password in because “something info has changed since last time”, but wpa 3 is stable, otherwise don’t know what it could be
You can change the settings in the modem using 192.168.1.1 @internetuser023. Can the eufy connect to a hotspot or not?
hi @Tommie van Odido
my eufy camera can not connect to hotspot
I have also purchased the eufy homebase which is connected with an ethernet cable, but the camera still fails to connect to wifi (supposedly that way it would have connected to the wi-fi)
At this point I don't know what I could do
Problem got resolved - the app needed access to local network (iOS).
Through settings, open eufy app and give access (toggle).
At least it was the issue in my case.
