Hello, I',ve been using Tele 2 and Odido for about 3 years and every single time going outside of the Netherlands, I had an issue for finding an Internet connection while roaming. Today, I flew to the U.K. and I am struggling with the same issue. I've been throught every possible solutions I can find here, but it's not working again unfortunately. I desperately need some help.

Hello ​@EricJoung, well nice if your internet works abroad too, let's look at a solution together so you can have internet in the UK too! Is there by any chance a blockade for Roaming set on your subscription? You can check this via your My Odido account: https://www.odido.nl/my/abonnement-en-instellingen under the heading ''blockades''. 

I would be happy to check your subscription to see if everything is set correctly from our side. Can you enter your full name, zip code + house number, date of birth and the last 4 digits of your bank account number in your profile? Then I can check with you! 


Thanks for the response. About the blockages first, I checked it and everything is off so I think that's not the problem.

I looked at your subscription right away and I do see a blockade for Roaming set. Hence it is not working. No worries, I immediately removed the block for you. Restart your device and it should work again. If necessary, connect manually to another carrier's network. You can do this in the settings of your phone.

I have the same issue but no block on my SIM. This is so frustrating.

Also, I see that the house number that you filled in is incorrect. Please add the right one to your profile as well. Then, I will remove the barring, and you will be connected in no time! 😄

Why on earth was it barred from international roaming? I literally bought this subscription so that I could use it overseas. 

 

Also everytime I use the Odido chat support it never allows me to speak to a service rep on the chat despite offering to transfer me—do you even support this or do actually require customers to ring Odido when something breaks?

New subscriptions have an automatic barring on international roaming within the first 3 months to protect our customers from (unexpected) extra costs. Sorry for this inconvinience. No worries, I removed the barring right away. In the UK you can now connect (manually) to 1 of these networks: 3 United Kingdom, EE Limited, JT, Manx Telecom, Sure, Virgin and Vodafone

Hello ​@JCW, how wonderful that you are going to the USA and I understand very well that you want to be able to use our services there. I checked your subscription right away and I don't see any blockage for Roaming or other specifics. So it should just work! It often doesn't work right away, sometimes it can take a while before you get the text message with the rates in the USA.

Should it not work, always reboot your device and if necessary connect manually to a network of another provider in the USA. Then you should be fine!
