Hi,
I hope you can help me with an issue regarding my current internet contract. I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 6 years. However, when I upgraded to a fibre internet connection a few months ago, I was surprised to find that this upgrade came with a new contract that expires next year.
I’m moving abroad for work and need to terminate my internet service earlier than expected. I will be leaving the Netherlands on the 3rd of November.
I understand that proof of relocation is usually required for early termination, but I don’t have the standard documents listed on other posts here. I own my apartment, which I have rented out for a minimum of 1 year, with permission from my mortgage provider to rent for up to 3 years. I was wondering if you would accept either an employer statement or the "Verklaring tijdelijk verblijf buiten Nederland" form I submitted to ABN for rental approval as proof?
I will not officially deregister from my municipality, as I will be using my parents' postal address during my time abroad. Therefore, I can't provide BPR proof.
Could you please let me know if these alternative documents would be acceptable or if you require any additional information from me to proceed with the early termination?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
