I’ve become Odido customer about 3 weeks ago, hired Internet for house 2Gbit/s. Since the very beginning the internet speed does not even reach half of the contracted speed. Contacted the support, shared requested images from speedtest barely reaching 300Mbit/s. Days later the support asked for more data using, surprise, using cable. It is hard to imagine contracting 2Gbit/s, the Wifi plus product, and have to use this combination with cable connected to the devices. In my street we are using fiber. If someone could please help, infortunatelly I can no longer cancel contract without a fee.

Hello @tochsendorf

You are getting 300 Mbps via the WiFi? Please prrfdorm the steps as described here and share the screenshot in this topic.

Replacing the cable between mediaconverter and router might also help.

There it goes, it does not look much better using the app.

PS. This is 182Mbps with a connection paid of 2Gbps.

And using Odido Amsterdam.

Hi @tochsendorf, could you run a speed test to our standard? Could you also do a powerflip? I cannot get a proper line measurement.

Powerflip

  4. Controleer of de verbinding stabiel is.

Speedtest bekabeld - De instructies hiervoor vind je op onze website.

Please follow all the steps carefully, please share the screenshots in the topic instead of to our email. We cannot process an application with missing steps.

Hello @Tommie van Odido I’ve done the powerfilp as oriented. After the connection came back, the speed was the same disapointing one. However, after that, I did one more trial and disabled 2,4Ghz and tried to use only 5Ghz. Then I saw an improvement, the connection speed was reaching near 1Gbps on the wifi at a distance of 50cm of the router on a somewhat new iphone. Good thing to see the improvement, sadly I am paying for 2Gbps.

About your question “could you run a speed test to our standard”, no I cannot. I can only provide what I have already. Also it is concerning A LOT that I lose my right to privacy, sharing screenshots of my data and my devices in a shared environment, and if I don’t, apparently I don’t get support from you. Is that correct? I need to give up on privacy to get support?

All I want is a technician to come to our place, run its tets and confirm whats obvious from day 1 or get it fixed. If you guys cannot do this, please help me to cancel this contrat without a fee since you cannot provide the service you sold me.

Thanks

A ticket has already been opened for you with the technical department @tochsendorf. We have asked to reboot the access switch in the hope that this will work.
