I had the modem installed by Gideon technicians, they advised everything would be online in two hours. Yet nothing has changed, I can see the wifi is visible but it is not connecting. I am unable to get in contact with anyone as it seems impossible to get through to customer service.

Has anyone else experienced this and should I unplug and replug the modem back in?

Do you have a Fiber connection? Normally everything shoulf work when the router is installed.

Do you see a red globe on the router and which lights ars on, off or blinking on the mediaconverter?


Hi @Waqqas Yes it is a Fiber Connection. Im not in the house right now but there is a Red Light flashing and yes one blinking on the media converter.

Is the PON light blinking or the LOS light and is it blinking fast (twice a second) or slow (once a second) in case of a Huawei converter?
