I have a Zyxel T-56 router and my subscription is 2Gbps.
However I am not getting more than 90Mbps not even when Wired directly to the router.
I have also tried Wifi in my phone, in front of the router, and I still reach the same 90Mbps.
After a very long investigation here I realized that the Zyxel router is wrongly setting the Ethernet WAN to 100M/Full as you can see in the image below.
I have already tried to reset the router and the modem, but nothing helped.
After a few attempts I realized that if I disconnect the cable multiple times from the modem to the router, at some point it changes the Ethernet WAN to 2500M/Full. But it only happens for a few minutes, if I move the router a little bit, this goes back to 100M/Full.
My impression is that there’s something wrong with the port of the router but I don’t have another router to test it.
