I have a 4G Voor Thuis subscription.

Occasionally, I am blocked from accessing certain websites. Interestingly enough, Odido's website is one of them. Initially, I thought it was a DNS problem, but that turned out not to be the case.

I removed the SIM card from the modem and placed it into a phone, but the issue persisted. I think this can exclude a problem related with my equipment.

Calling Odido's help desk didn't resolve the issue. The employee refused to acknowledge that the problem wasn't with the modem and asked me to go to an Odido shop to have it checked. However, the shop turned me away because they don't check routers.

 

When you put the SIM card in your phone you where using the phone on the mobile network?

A very weird issue. I also have 4GvT and the Odido website loads fine.

I have no explanation.


Yes, I’ve put the SIM card on a phone and used the mobile network. The problem was still there.  

I can access every web site when I use a VPN. That’s  why I think the problem is somewhere in the connection on Odido’s end 


Yes, this must be an Odido problem, I hope a moderator here can do something for you.


Hello ​@EfthimisVaf, nice if you can reach any website though, let's look at a solution together! Can you specify which websites cannot be reached? Since you also have this problem with your SIM card in your device, I suspect it's because of your SIM card. Can you mention the 097 number in your profile? Then I can check with you if everything is set correctly from our side!
