Replacement sim card activation

Hello !

My sim card stopped working and I ordered a replacement one but  i'm not being able to activate it. I’m trying to activate  it via iDIN but the webpage on the odido website is not working. Would it possible to help me with the authentication of ID via email? Many thanks!

Hello ​@g.b., welcome to our community! I totally understand that you want your new sim card working, let's look at a solution together! Is your old sim card still working? Then I can help you with this. I have to do an extra verification by SMS. If you can share the code with me, I can help you with the activation of your new sim card.

When did you request the new sim card? When I get the number, I see that it is a Prepaid connection. Can that be correct? I only see that the address information does not match what is known under the number in our system. Can you provide the correct zip code + house number in your profile?

The best way to activate your sim card is to visit an Odido shop.
Don't forget to bring your id with you.

Thank you!  Unfortunatelly I’m in France and wont be able to go to a shop in NL / Belgique, and I really need to have the number active :/

Would it be possible to support virtually ? (similar to the case below).  I would be happy to use iDIN if it would work.

You will then have to wait until a moderator responds. This can take 24 to 48 hours.
Also fill in all the private fields in your profie.

My old sim card is not working.

 

I already have the new / replacement simcard with me, it's in my phone but can't activate it (it's pre paid indeed)

I just need help to activate it since the digiID option is not working, I can provide more documents / info via email to verify (ID , Newsimcard ICC number etc)

Hello ​@g.b. Normally your SIM card is not supposed to be activated remotely, only by phone through our customer service. This is because through this way I should be able to do an additional verification through your old SIM card. If that's not possible, it's best to visit one of our stores, where my colleagues can help you directly with activating and linking a new SIM card. This will be difficult if you are abroad. Therefore, I am quite willing to make an exception once and do the verification by mail.

I only see that the zip code + house number does not match what is known under the number in our system. Could you please update it to the correct address information for me? I have already sent you the code by mail. Could you share it with me as well? Then I can see if it is possible to activate your new SIM card!

Super thanks, Pharwin ! I actually called customer service last week but they said they couldnt help through the phone  :/ So I came here to check since the IDN authetication page is not working on Odido’s webiste/app,  big thanks for helping.

I’ve adjusted my address to the original address I had registered with T-Mobile/Odido (should be matching your database now). The code received via email is 8855122.

Should something else be needed, let me know,

Hi ​@g.b. no problem! Thanks for sharing the code. I wanted to set up activation right away, only I don't see a sim card linked ready for activation. When had you requested the sim card and was this actually done with your Prepaid connection? Or with another subscription? Can you give me a little more clarity?

Can you send me the full sim card number in a private message? Then I can see if I can manually link it for you. It is only important that it is a Prepaid SIM card. If it's a different SIM card, I can't pair and activate it remotely.
