I want to make a serious complaint

We ordered 2 iphone promax 512 gb white titanium and one of us received the sms to go and pick up the phone but when that happened first customer representative tried to over sell us what we ordered with extra insurance and packages that we don't need and after we politely mentioned we have other insurance we we do not require any upgrades we were unable to pick our phones they mentioned the color was out of stock and that we have to cancel and reorder the phone . 

 

I wanted to ask is this how it works first trying to luring customers to purchase and when the stock out we have to cancel and reorder

As a result we had to order again from odido shop instead of picking up our own order that happened through calling customer service . 

 

At some point I felt like shop didn't want to help us with our order and we had to make the order through the shop and cancel our previous order and remake through shop which benefits them for their sales targets ? 

 

Am I a sales targets and been delayed for their own profits . Is that how it works ? 

 

We were also told through cusotmer service on the phone  that if we don't like the color of the handset which is different from what we ordered we can paint the phone ! 

 

Yes I m not joking this is what my partner told as a recommendation ..  I would like to point out that we have odido internet tv package as well as odido 2 mobile subscriptions .

 

I was really shocked with how they tried to over sell their insurances packages telling that how we can help them reach their sales target etc and that we have to pay 100s literally from paying 200 or more just for insurance which we don't need because we already have several insurances and as well as paying monthly 35 euros each for services that we don't require and when we don't buy those somehow the stock was finished and we can't collect our agreed confirmed and ready to pick up handset.

 

I would really would like to know how bad can customer service could go so wrong I felt like I m in India or china in a black illegal market been trying to robbed . 

 

At last another customer sales person younger local seemed to help us reorder what we wanted all over again and this time delay our pick up as late as another few days in which we already had order and confirmation pick up code for today ..

Hi Ozan, good choice on the iPhone Pro Max. I'm very sorry to hear about this experience in 1 of our shops. This is not the way it works. If you ordered a phone, doesn't matter if you ordered it online or via telesales, and we send you an sms that it's ready for pick up, it should be ready for you to take it home. Unless someone made a human mistake, your iPhone should have been there. I understand that my colleagues try to get you to take insurances to extra secure your brand-new phone, but after rejecting that it is not custom to make you re-order your iPhone for them to make a sale.

About the '’painting your phone'’ comment. I am also very sorry that someone said this to you and your partner. I don't know what this colleague was thinking, and I am hoping this was meant as a joke. 

I'm here to help you as much as I possibly can. I found your orders and I see that the iPhone models that you choose are in stock. It usually takes 1-3 working days before you receive the sms and you can pick them up. I expect this to be either tomorrow or monday after the weekend. Will you please keep let me know when you receive the sms and if everything was okay picking up your orders? I'd love to stay in the loop until your order has been completed, and you have your phones in your hands. 

Would you like me to forward your complaint to the specific shop where this all took place? Do you happen to know the name of the colleague in the shop that tried to oversell you insurances and packages? If not, could you tell me the exact date and time that you visited the shop? And am I correct this was at our shop in Rotterdam Alexandrium? Please let me know, and I will be happy to forward this for you to the specific managers of that shop, so they can prevent this in the future.

Thank you so much for your reply the shop worker who makes our new order with black  was able to help us out on Wednesday but we were eager to get white titanium iphone promax 16 512 gb is it ok for you to help us the right order I want to be sure even we made right order and stock shows available when after receiving the text confirmation in the shop it showed they only had available  desert titanium which we didn't want .

 

We are able to collect in Alexandrium or even better Capelle center which is closer to our home but you may have to cancel our 2nd order which was iphone promax 16 black 512 edition as they didn't have the white titanium on stock and they mentioned they couldn't order that as well 

 

If you can help I highly appreciate Monday is also ok I wanted to double check with you though if we get sms today or tomorrow to pick up order shop order that day we can just ignore and wait for this order instead looking forward to your reply . 

 

Our store visit was Wednesday afternoon . I appreciate if they don't offer us any other insurance as well .

Iphone promax White titanium 512gb version 2 handsets for me and my partner thank you tomorrow and or Monday is fine looking forward to your reply . But please double check Incase we go to the store and somehow they dont have the color or worse different version thank you again beste

Is it possible the system shows it's available but when we go to the store they see that it's not avail m ? If that's the case we could stick with the one we reordered through shop  on Wednesday you could possibly call the store whether Alexandrium or capella center and see what the store manager has to say thank you again for your kind help sincerely 🙏

These kind of phones are never on stock in a shop. Only after ordering in the shop or online they will be shipped to the shop. That will take a few days. Once received by the shop, there will be an sms send to you.

Hello ​@OzanD it could be that our website says ‘'immediate delivery’', but if you choose to pick up in our store, the device will be ordered from our logistics center and shipped as soon as possible to that store. There have been thefts in our stores in the past, hence we no longer carry pricey devices in our stores. They must always be ordered from our logistic center, hence it can always take a 1 to 3 business days before you receive the text message to pick up your device in our store.

Glad you received at least 1 sms to pick up your iPhone. Don't forget to bring a valid ID so my colleagues can verify that you are the right person. Then you'll be fine!
