Early Termination of My Mobile Subscription Due to Leaving the Netherlands

Hello, I want terminate my subscription as I will be leaving the Netherlands the end of January 2025. How can I do this? Please help me out!

Hi ​@kgihak thanks for sharing the code! I have just processed the cancellation for you. The subscription will be discontinued on 03/02/25 and the redemption fee is € 133,35. I have also sent you a confirmation email about this.

Hello ​@kgihak welcome to our Community and the best wishes for 2025! Very understandable that you want to cancel your subscription since you are leaving for abroad, I am happy to help you with this. I checked your number right away and I see that your subscription is still in contract through 18-8-2026. 

If you want to cancel the contract, you have to buy it off. You then pay 50% of the monthly costs for the remaining months and the device credit you still have open (if you have one). Now I see that you have a Sim Only subscription. The earliest I can stop this for you is 03/02/25 due to one month's notice. Would you like that? If you have the subscription stopped on this date, it will cost you € 133,35. 

Feel free to let me know if you agree to this. I will just have to do an additional verification with you to make sure you are the right person. Are you still in possession of the SIM card? I just send an verification code by sms to your number. If you can share that code with me and if you agree, I can arrange this for you!

Hello:) Thank you so much for your reply. I would like to agree to that, however, because I am at another country, I do not have my Odido SIM card inside my phone. I will return to the Netherlands next week, then we can do the verification code. Is it okay if I let you know when I can do the verification next week? Many thanks!

Hi ​@kgihak that's fine! Feel free to comment in this topic when you get back, and I will send a new verification code to your number. Once I receive that code from you, I will discontinue the subscription for you as of 03/02/25. The buyoff amount is € 133,35.

Hello! It has been 2 weeks since I terminated my subscription, and I am wondering when the redemption fee will be taken out from my bank account. 133,35 Euros still has not been taken out from my bank account. Thank you for your help!

Hello ​@kgihak, I looked right away and I see that your final invoice has not been prepared yet. That will probably happen at the end of this month, at which time the bill will be collected from your bank.
