Hi all,

I unplugged my access point to move to another room, then it stopped working and no longer connects to the router.

I followed the instructions and reconnected the router with a cable. Everything is fine and shows that it has synced with the router, but when I unplug the LAN cable it cannot connect to the router.

I checked the settings while connecting the device to the router via cable. Everything seems to be fine, but when I disconnect the LAN cable, it does not connect to the router.

Any suggestions for that?

Hi @Vahhab

Most likely the AP is placed to far from the router. Can you try to move it closer.

As a simple test if you place it next to the router does it wireless connect?

Hi Sven,

I put it 2 meters away and also its previous position, but no connection.

On the AP (disconnected via cable from router): Power light is constant green, the WiFi light is constant green, the Antenna light is off.

best,

Vahhab

Hi @Vahhab

Can you connect the AP with a wire so i can have a look at it :)

Hi @Sven-Odido,

Thank you for your answer. I will connect it today evening and send you a pic when connected via cable and when it is away.

best,

Vahhab

Hi Sven,

Please find the pics below:

1- Attaching the cable to the AP

2- AP stabilized after a min:

3- Disconnecting the cable and put the AP an meter away from the router:

The power and WiFi signals are on, but the connection (antenna) signal is off.

Best,

Vahhab
